The contest was organized in 1960, and the 2020 version was presumed to commemorate its 60th anniversary. And, rather than attempting to play in a single stadium as is customary, the games are going to be played in different sports venues across 12 European countries, with the sub and finals taking place at Wembley Stadium in London. However, due to the coronavirus outbreak, Euro 2020 has been pushed back to the glory days of 2021.
The qualifying rounds will start happening from June 11th to June 23rd, with up to four games per day. Every group has four teams, and the winning team in each group, as well as the four best runners-up, advance to the knockout rounds.
